More information would be helpful, but I'd imagine it's because you don't act as much like an adult as your sister.

Well, not knowing the personality of you or your sister, that is a tough querstion to answer. As a mother of three though, my best guess would be because the past is sometimes the determining factor for present and future where moms are concerned. What kind of reasons have you given her to treat you like a child that your sister has not?

I can understand your problem because I too am undergoing the same situation, in fact its even worse for me. I really don't know what the answer should be. My parents always prefer my sister more even though she is bad at studies and always thinks about fashion, they would allow her to wear any dress or watch T.V. but not me.Talking to parents may work .
