You didnt mention if you've taken her to the vet to be checked. Sometimes they are trying to tell you something is wrong like a bladder infection. It could even be a behavioral problem like shes mad cause you guys leave her. Your best bet is the vet to make sure she isnt sick then go from there.

My mini dauchshund is the same way. An hour before you go to bed or the last person goes to bed, make sure your dog is not able to have ANY water at all. The first time my dog peed on the carpet we put her outside for 30 minuets. The more times she pees the longer we put her outside! It really works for my dog.

For starters, get her checked out by your vet just to make sure there is not an infection somewhere.
After that:
Get a crate. Crate training is very effective. She won't want to mess in there because she won't want to be that close to it.
Please don't think of crate training as abusive. It really can and is for the safety of the dog. Dog's (especially the younger ones like yours) like to chew on things. The crate will protect her from eating something she shouldn't when you are not home. Also, it protects your house. If you will be gone for a few hours, or for overnight, put a small dish of water in with her.
We did this with our dog and after 4 years he still will not sleep anywhere but his crate. We have thought a few times of getting rid of it but everytime we do he whines until we give it back to him.
Good Luck

I recommend using puppy training pads just to reacquaint the dog with the concept-there is a right and wrong place to urinate. If this doesn't do the trick, maybe a visit to the vet to check for other issues is in order.

I don't know? But my 1 dog pissed on my bed a few times and it really!!! Pissed Me Off!! my vet said, maybe she's getting too much water. I give her minimum water now, it helps. also but that stuff to soak in your bed to get rid of the odor. yeah I son't know what her problem is, sometimes it's there way of getting attention.
when I'm in the basement too long, and don't let her out, she'll piss on the bath floor. my other dog always tells me when he wants to go out. he'll come and claw on me until I do. Plus I think the 1 dog is jealous of the Alpha dog who came along later.
good luck.

Maybe you should call a vet. I have read that if an animal starts going to the bathroom in the house they may have a medical problem.

Take her to the vet, have her checked. If she is ok then ask the vet how to stop this.Since it is just the bed it might help to keep her out of the room.

you need to use the back hander method, simply whenever the dog does anything wrong, give it a back hander, its very effective
