Best is a really subjective distinction, especially given the range of beer styles (Stouts, Porters, Lagers, Pale Ales, Fruited Beers, Wheat Beer, etc..) that Canada produces. But if by 'best' you mean 'the beer that you'll enjoy most', then it becomes much easier to answer.

I'm going to exclude, for the sake of reasonability, any beer that was made as a one-shot deal, or that is otherwise not very commercially available. But if you like the Keith's, I'd highly recommend that you try the Mill Street Tankhouse Ale.

Mill Street is a medium-sized brewery in the Distillery District of Toronto. They make a lot of wonderful, hand-crafted beer. Their Tankhouse Ale is, like Alexander Keith's, a Pale Ale, but it has a bit more body, a lot more hops, and a tonne more nuance and personality.

There are lots of great beer out there, but if you like the IPAs, you need to give Tankhouse a try.

My favorite beer is anything made by "Granville Island Brewing Co." (it's a smaller brewery in Vancouver BC) Cypress Honey Lagger is the best. www.gib.ca
