actually in 2005 the International Institute for Strategic Studies concluded that Iran could have a nuclear weapon by 2010 if they threw caution to the wind. The reason that they are a threat is: they supply arms to terrorists, advocate the annihilation of another country and if they wanted to close off all naval access to the Persian Gulf, cutting a majority of the WORLD'S oil supply, not just ours.

Korea turned around out of the blue with it. 3 Iraq very well still could have wmd's. The news broadcast it for months before we came in. The President of Iran has publicly stated that Israel is an illegal nation and should be wiped away from the face of the Earth. Now correct me if i am wrong, but isnt the US more than just about protecting itself??? Isnt the US also the defender of freedom and liberty of all people of the world? Why is Iran a threat??? A nuke is not far away because a nuke is basiclly an uncontrolled nuclear reactor. I am quite sure they already have the capability of producing nuclear weapons, they dont lack a delivery system to send it to US soil.

Iran is a bigger threat to herself than anyone else. Looks to me as though Israel wants the U.S. to go in and do their dirty work EVEN as the US has supplied them with the very best in weapons and finances.
