I'm kind of feeling down about it right now but i'm not overweight, i'm 5'9" and i fluctuate around 161-165.
I dont exactly exersize everyday and I know i need to start doing that but I do watch what I eat and steer away from high fat high carb foods.
I'm just curious because i'm not a guy and dont know what they find attractive. and I want to know if I need to work extra hard to get the annoying fat off of my stumache to get a guy to ask me on a date.
any opinions?
i know for a fact i'm not the only girl wondering this question

Depends on the guy, some guys like a little extra cushion. My wife use to be 180 and she is about 5'6. She dropped down to about 150 by eating less meat, more fruit, smaller portions when eating, and exercise. But I never shunned her when she was 180.

Its good that you are conscious of your weight which is good in itself but remember, some guys may not like a thin page 25 Victoria Secret girl, they may want a thick girl. Hope this helps.

well I'm not a guy, and I'm not a lesbian... but I do not find really thin women attractive. Since your not overweight I would suggest getting an ab ball and doing crunches on it. It's actually kinda fun! lol and also (this might sound grandmaish to say) start holding your stomache in and eventually it will be second nature to you. It will also work your stomach muscles at the same time and give you better posture. I think thats a beauty secret that alot of women use. And yea my grandma taught it to me :) But really confidence counts for so much more than looks. I mean havent you ever met a guy and not found him too attractive but then the more you got to know him his attitude turned you on? Guys are like that too, about girls.

For one, you shouldnt have to lose weight to attract a guy (or change any part of you),just be yourself or the guy your who asks your out will be asking someone out thats not you. You shouldnt have to change yourself for someone to like you, thats just acting like someone else. But if you feel the need to sheds some pounds, here's some info.

I am 13 years old, 5'4'' and 100 pounds. I am currently trying to lose about 10 pounds. This is what i do:

Breakfast- Oatmeal (about 140 calories) and Skim Milk (75 calories)
Snack- Granola Bar (100 calories)
Lunch- Sandwich and Fruit (300 calories)
Snack- 1 cup of blueberries w/ Splenda (80 calories)
Dinner- Salad with eggs, cheese, meat, a little bit of dressing and chicken breast (400 calories)
Desert- Blueberries w/ Splenda (80 calories)

Exercise- 1 hour of PE (running, exercise, stretches, etc.) and 100 crunches, 50 ups per leg, and 30 pushups at home

Well thats what im doing right now and I think it works. You should try this and you should see results in a month. I know its not really fast but its a healthy and safe way to lose weight. Also, its not really dieting because its yummy. :] I hope this works for you!

Well, a girl with a pudge or love handles is not attractive to me.
But hey, find some kind of exercise that you enjoy doing and stick with it,,,you'll lose that pudge in no time.

Plus, I'm sure there are other things about you that are great as well. Don't be so down...just get moving!

Good luck.

This answers not gonna any get me points, but this is my own opinion:

If you are standing and your belly sticks out and over your belt and/or you have rolls of excess weight on the side of your body (Under your underarms and above the hips), then it is generally looked down upon and is avoided by most men.

I think of it equal exchange though, if you work hard and look good, it'll open up your options and you'll get to choose and flirt more with more confidence.

work hard, play hard.

Take it from me, a guy who was once 200lbs at 5'10, whose now at a lean-cut 150 lbs.

I know... this is going to get me boo'ed, but I mind. It's a personal thing really, but I take extreme care of my body and I would want a partner to do the same.

It varies for every guy, but I prefer a flat stomach. It's highly attractive if a girl know how to take personal care of herself.

hey priscilla, if youre 5'4, theres no way you should be 90 pounds. stop dieting, youre still growing and stuff. i mean, eat healthy and all, but dont be trying to lose weight, you shouldnt weigh less then what you are at all at your current height.
