Sounds like your ear drum has burst - keep taking your antibiotics and clean the pus up as much as you can. It is better to let it drain out so that it will heal up quicker. If the pus is not cleared up by the time you are done with your antibiotics, Go back to the Dr. and let them look at it - you may need stronger antibiotics.

You probably had a pus pocket in your ear and with the antibiotics it has broken open.
But let your doctor know about it and don't put anything in your ear like a q-tip or cotton. He may want to check your ear again to make sure the ear drum has not punctured.

I get ear infections alot. I use some peroxide to clean all the puss out and then I use sweet oil to sooth the pain. You can buy sweet oil at the pharmacy as well as peroxide.
