Like different spelling of the same name...? I know in french "Le Beouf" means the beef or the bull....so does that make LA Beouf mean cow?

beouf means beef
milk comes from "la vache"

If taken from the French, then his name should be Le Beouf as it is never feminine

La vache is cow in French. La beouf doesn't make any sense at all, as beouf is a masculine noun. Probably some weird change in spelling happened to Le Beouf a long, long time ago.

Surname spellings were (generally) not consistent until fairly recently, so to the extent you are asking about the appearance of these names in older records, then yes, it is likely they refer to the same family.

As others have pointed out, both have spelling and grammatical mistakes from the original french - this wouldn't be uncommon if a Frenchman with the last name "Le Boeuf" came to an English speaking area.

Don't you mean Le Boeuf (your e and o are reversed to the true spelling of the word beef in French)?
