Not the kind in the pouch, my kitty has a sensitive tummy and the moist Whiskas food made him sick all the time. The dry stuff is ok though.

Most cats that have a sensitive stomach have an intolerance to fish. Even though the packet says its chicken or beef it will most likely have fish meal somewhere in it.
The only food on the market that I know of that are totally fish free are:
Hills Feline z/d
Whiskas Advance Adult Chicken
For hairballs either use catlax (or similar) once a week or Duphalac (from chemist) 1 1/2 mls once a day as maintenance.

My female cat always threw up after eating Whiskas. I don't know why but, I would not recommend it to anyone with a cat who has a sensitive stomach. I started feeding her Dollar General cat food after trying many expensive brands, and believe it or not I've had the best results with it than any other brand I've tried. If your cat is young, however do not change the cat food too often because this cuases diarria. Always mix half and half of the old brand and then the brand you wish to try for a few days, before giving them the new cat food. Hoped this helped you!!!!

No, absolutely not. Whiskas is fatty. You should go with a food that is specially formulated for sensative stomach. Most large chain pet stores offer this kind of food. I personally recommend Science Diet for sensative stomach or even something like Eukanuba. You will pay a little more, but they are better foods. They may pay off for you in the long run. It may save you some costly vet bills later on.

Whiskas is a medium to low quality food and will do more to upset your cat's sensitive tummy. Get a cat food that is made specifically for sensitive stomachs.

I can assure you that Whiskas ( and any food from Grocery Store and Wal Mart) are crap. too much filler and not enough nutrition

if you see CORN on -byproducts in the first two spots of an ingredient list the food is CRAP!!
cats are carnivours - corn shouldnt be a part of their diet
these food put more fat into the food to give your pet a glossy coat so you are tricked into thinking its eating good food. Also because there is so little meat in the food your cat has has to eat up to 5 times as much food as if it were on a good food

the gentlest thing for their tummies is CHICKEN and RICE or LAMB and RICE.

go to pet supply store and look on the lables of their foods, some are better than others, dont let the higher cost scare you off, your cat will eat less, poop less, and be healthier.

You should get foods that specifically say they are for sensitive stomachs. If you only go to the grocer for kitty food, look at what Iams or Eukanuba has to offer.

If you go to Pet Smart or Pet Co they have lots of stuff. And I have found that their in house brands had higher quality and less fillers.

Also, you may want to get your cat "catalax" or something similar. It's a kitty laxative with nutrients made specifically for furballs. The only issue is cats that should take it don't, and cats that don't need it love it. If this is the case, wipe a serving size on her cheek or leg, she will have to wash it off and therefore swallow it.

Commercial pet foods are bad for various reasons which will take me a while to explain, but trust me on this. Please try to stop feeding your cat food from the groceries. I highly highly recommend these products for your kitty.

Felidae - least expensive out of all of them and just as nutritious
Wellness
Innova Evo
Blue Buffalo

All of them are free of soy, wheat, corn, by-products and artificial preservatives. Everything you should avoid for your kitty especially with sensitive stomachs. You'll see once you start feeding your cat these products, especially Innova Evo, you'll notice a dramatic change in fur, skin, and bathroom habits. I recommend mixing 25% wet food with 75% dry food to help clean teeth, and make their food extra tasty.

All of these are sold at independent pet supplies, except for Blue Buffalo. You can buy the Blue Buffalo Spa Selects at Petco. Like the person above said, don't get scared at the price. By paying a little more, you'll be putting your cat into a healthier diet that is so worth it.

I have a siamese mix and just took her to the vet cause she was throwing up from time to time but it got more frequent. He said to try finding a food that would help her not to puke. RIght now i have her on PURINA NATURALS and she seems to be doing good. we dont know if its sensitive tummy or not. He also wormed her and gave me stuff for hairballs cause he said that could also cause the throwing up. he said that if tryuing different foods (give each new food at least 2-3 weeks) that we may have to try some tests.
