I wanna be a doctor when I'm older, but sometimes I think the blood on doctor shows is scary. Is it something you just have to get used to or am I just not cut out to be a doctor?

See how the sight of blood affects you as you mature. Blood never bothered me personally, but the odor of some body fluids was quite nauseating at times.

video clips are diverse to the genuine issue, if you got queasy at a video it may no longer be a reliable theory to pass surgical treatment, you may manage to type of 'get used to it' by technique of watching more suitable video clips and doing placements in vets or at a slaughter living house (I did both and they were truly interesting!!). there are truly some specialisations, as a GP you gained't carry out surgical treatment, you'll artwork in a medical doctors surgical treatment diagnosing and prescribing drugs. Surgeons (plastic, neuro, neonatal, cardiothoracic etc) and anaesthetists will be operating with the gore (i imagine in reality surgeons circumcise, no longer particular inspite of the truth that). no. you get used to it after a while. being scared of blood as a child will eventually go away since you will be seeing it everyday.
