Ok, this guy Thomas says he's starting to kinda like me. Although, he really likes me bff Allana, she's like afraid of him. He's always begging her to hug him (he's kinda a playa but he's really sweet) and she always says no.
Well, heres what throws me through a loop... he's always hugging me, and he always has him arm around me or my waist, and he never lets go of me! He used to say I'm annoying, but since he's such a playa, I cant really tell what his thoughts are anymore! What should I do? It feels like I am his back up girl or something!
BTW, when I got really sick when we were hanging outside in our neighborhood, I sat down at the curb, and I was like crying my eyes out cuz I had a really bad allergy attack, and he sat next to me and held me in his arms and I was like,'I am getting too many mixed signals here!' So does he like me as a friend or more or what?

Okay! Give me a Minute, beacuse the way you wrote it gave me mixed signals too. I kinda leaning on the side that he is a player and he want some of your goodies, But he underneath all that Playerness there is a kind-hearted person. Heres the test, Simply say I'm not having sex till I'm Married or when he try to make a pass say UnUnUN Don't Touch Cause I'm not ready. Basically if he can wait he is falling for you. i hung out with him as a friend then told him when he started hugging me again that he was giving me mixed signals and i didn't want to be like that until i knew he wanted more than a back up girl
The whole player thing is just a image he will get the idea

Why would you want to date someone that you think is going to play you.? He sounds like a big flirt and most likely would keep you as a backup plan or until he found someone he likes better.
Guys are a dime a dozen, find one that will treat you and only you well all the time, not just on his clock.

Sounds like he likes u for more than a friend, u should just ask him wat's goin on unless you r afraid he will back up even if he does like you. Maybe you could hint around to his friends.....
