I realize I have to wear it for a LONG time after my teeth have moved into position, but how long should it take for them to initially move into place?
I'd just like to know how long I should wait before I see visual results. I've had the retainer for about 6 days so far.

depending upon the degree of correction needed, you may have to wait 4 - 5 weeks to really see signifigant results. upper teeth may take longer than lower. if you do not need a lot of correction, you may be very happy with what you see in about 3 weeks. and i am glad to see you have committed yourself to wearing the appliance long term. this is very important to maintain your result. ggod luck, anymore questions please email me.

My 13 year old daughter has one before she gets her braces. She had it about 14 days and she noticed some movement.
