I believe religion should be more about what you are trying to accomplish when you do something not the outcome or whether the thing you did fell into the "bad" list of actions.
Example - if it was your choice to kill a child with a incurable, lethal, communicable disease if it were impossible to quarantine the child from a group of 1000 people? i.e. if you don't kill him everyone will be infected and killed. What would you do? I would try saving the 1000 people personally, because it is 1000 lives at stake. To me, my salvation and a child's isn't worth 1000 other peoples' lives.
I also believe that Heaven and Hell are states of mind not actual places. How do you go to Heaven if your body is here? You can't see your loved ones there cause you have no eyes. ETC
I also believe that there is no religion that is totally correct. There is probably one that is closer than the others, but basically most sound like they are similar in many ways. As the first man multiplied and spread across our Earth and multiplied some more, the story changed and religions were created. It happens.

My belief is Christianity - God is the Father and Jesus is God. He died on the cross so that we may live. Anybody that will give their only begotten Son as the ultimate sacrifice to die for others--even for those who even blaspheme His name--has all power that cannot be explained nor accomplished by man.
Having a relationship with Christ is the best feeling anybody could ever experience - a "spiritual" high that evokes emotions unexplained. Knowing God is like having an everlasting arm around you--you have no doubt that somebody loves you.
God is the only one...He gives me everything I need - and He will do the same for you.

I think there is a higher being. BUT it\her\him is not the entire lord. Evolution to me is true, And the earth is way more than 6,000 years old. I think that there is Heaven, but no Hell. Instead of hell, reincarnation. Some times my beliefs change, and i will never decide on what i think is true or not.
I dont think that anyone has the right answer here, for it is more of a opinion than anything of truth.

I'm actually Wiccan though my beliefs don't exactly coincide with alot of Wiccans either (I don't believe the gods are personifications of anything, but merely concepts instead).
And its because it suits beliefs I already hold, its welcoming, understanding, open minded, and encourages questions, education, and knowledge as well as realizing that nature is important and that we are not above nature, but a part of it.
Wicca is the best thing to happen to this world in many millenia.

Christian becomes the truth has changed my life. Also endtime prophecies like "he requires both small and great to receive a mark on the forehead or on their hands, without which they would not be able to buy or sell." Kinda in the process of happenign very soon, especially with the national id card required by May 2008 in US, with the RFID tracking device.

I am a Christian because I was raised to know that there is one God and he is all powerful, he created the earth that we live on and everyone and everything on it. I am a Christian because I believe tha praising the Lord Jesus Christ is what I was put on this earth to do and he created everyone the way that he meant for them to be created. He is PERFECT and he is the reason that I am alive and the reason that I will continue to live with him forever in heaven.

I have no belief.
There are things which the evidence clearly shows are correct, and I accept those things as correct.
There are things which the evidence clearly shows are false, and I accept those things as false.
And there are things for which we haven't gathered enough evidence to say one way or the other YET -- those things I consider to be "waiting for science to get around to them."
No belief needed. Just a wonderful life in this wonderful world, with all its quirks, unexpected twists and turns, and great friends and family to enjoy spending time with. It's the only life we've got -- better make the most of it while we can!
No "belief" needed to do that.
Peace.

I believe that I am a sinner by choice, and that I have separated myself from God. I believe the penalty for my sin is death. I believe Jesus Christ paid my penalty for me, which was the plan of God from the beginning.
The proof to me is reading the Old Testament and seeing all the hidden clues that point right straight to Jesus Christ. It's amazing.
