i vaguely feel like i have the same problem, you must ask yourself what is your motivation to do this over and over again, and if the reason isnt right, you should find a better reason to keep going.

"It's not our accomplishments that give us strength, it is the amount of times we fail and get up only to try again."

Realize that as long as your breathing, you can take more punishment. The human body is the most resilient machine God ever created, however the human mind is the most fragile thing he created. Trust me on one thing, you CAN continue to keep getting back up, you are just feeling sorry for yourself. It's ok, we all do it from time to time and it's nothing to be ashamed of, but you have to get out of that rut or that little feeling in the pit of your stomach (the same feeling that is satisfied by gorging on food) will not go away until you come to terms with reality. Reality is that there is a purpose bigger and greater than your own. It's up to you to find that purpose, I'm not a preacher and don't instill my views upon others.

It sounds like you feel very stressed and overwhelmed. Do you have someone that you trust that you can talk to? There are Crisis and Distress Centres phone numbers listed on the inside front cover of your phone book. If you feel that you are reaching "the point of no return" or just need someone to listen, you can call one of those numbers. They have trained volunteers who can help you. The volunteers can also refer you to other services in your area.
Do you feel comfortable enough to talk with a family member about this? Would they be supportive? Have you talked with your doctor about how you are feeling? I do hope that you find the support that you need. All the best.

If you do want to make a recovery, the best thing I can think of is to come up with reason to keep on going. The little things are the only things that keep me going.
