I need to find a cheap motel or hotel that you don't need to be 21 to check into. my boyfriend is 18 and in the navy and I'm going to see him this weekend in georgia and we need a place to stay.

18 is fine in most places - BUT you will need a credit card or pay the full tab up front.

Mind you - BOTH of you must be 18 or they can deny you a room. Some states have inkeeper's laws that would prohibit an unmarried couple from sharing a room. Particularly if one of the inhabitants is under 18.If the innkeeper reasonably believes the person will use the room or facility for an unlawful purpose

This would include an adult over 18, accompanied by a person under the age of consent.
