i suggest just being yourself(ya, you've probably herd it a million times) and go and try to make freinds with guys..... the more people you know, hang out with, and like the more likely it is you'll find a guy you want to date......... but i guess thats just my reasoning

At 17 you shouldnt be worrying about getting a boyfriend. Worry about having fun. However if you are looking for that special someone:
Be real. No one likes someone who says one thing and then does another. Remember honesty is still #1
Have a good personality and sense of humor. Just like you gals like to have fun and laugh so do we!
Keep an open mind. Hey Mr. Right might be under your nose you just dont know it yet.
Relax have a lot of guy friends. When you put pressure on something what happens?? It breaks. If your just hanging out friendship might turn into something more. Good luck.

when the right guy comes around he comes around. you cant just go out on a mission looking for one guy. if you do that you will end up with someone you dont want. why the rush?? when he comes he comes. all you have to do is go on your merry way. just enjoy your life and he will come soon. good luck!!! and enjoy your life!!! life is to short to worry about things like that!! good luck!!!

do what i do, make as many public appearance as possible and let people come to you. i'm really shy too, and them people come up to me and say i'm good lookin and stuff, so i'm like "hey, i dont even hafta go looking" i dunno, maybe it's different for girls.
