I have 3 year old twin girls. One on my girls was potty trained around 2 1/2 and has done great, my other daughter was just potty trained before Christmas. I told them when they were potty trained they got to pick out a special treat they wanted. Also when they went on the potty they got 5 m&ms but only if they went. Some say not to 'bribe' them but it worked for us. Good Luck with your girls!

The mistake I think a lot of Mom's make is to start trying to potty train too young. Most (not all) little girls are not ready to start until 22-28 months and little boys 24-30 months. I sat a potty chair in easy access and dressed my 2 year olds in easy to pull down pants. They pretty much trained themselves as they were old enough to understand exactly what was going on and what was expected of them. My boy did not train until a good 6 months after his sister!

I did it with twin boys and not to discourage you but I found it to be really hard. One responded well to rewards, the other couldn't care less. One trained very quickly for pee but took months for poop while the other took a little longer initially but figured both out around the same time.

I followed all the potty-training advice. i was consistent, i was firm, encouraging etc but maybe they were still too young? I am not sure. But my best advice for you is to always use rubber pants with underwear. At least if you can't get to one of them in time, you won't also have a mess to clean up. Don't bother with the pull-ups - kids know that they are diapers.

My mother would just spend several days at home with us until we were pretty much trained. She would let us run around in nothing but a tshirt and panties and if we wet our selves she made us put up with it for a bit (just a couple of minutes, nothing harmful) because we hated the feeling of it. She would also have one of our favorite treats to give us if we used the potty. I believe my mother said it usually just took about three days for us girls, a little longer for boys.

Ya know, I have 2 sons- 4 and 8 and I can see where it would be a little hard. Lord it was hard with my sons at their own given time but what I have found to be the fastest way to train kids almost anything is getting them around older children. Kids imitate one another. They wanna do what they other 'kids' are doing. Maybe cousins, nieces or nephews?!

consistancy consistancy consistancy!!! Granted i only had one to work with, but i stayed home for one solid weekend without leaving the house once and focused JUST on the potty! We would go every hour or so just to sit and see, and we played or did whatever she wanted as a reward if she did it! It was great! Good luck!

I believe there is something known as a 'three in one potty' in the market. Go ahead & buy one. You can sit on a high stool in front & holler if things go wrong!
