Try using an oil-free formula. Aveeno has some pretty inexpensive ones that are hypo-allergenic and noncomedogenic (won't cause break-outs).

What I think you should do is discontinue any type of moisturizer right now. Your skin may be allergic to the chemicals most makeup companies use in manufacturing moisturizers and liquid or cream makeup. Use an acne face cleanser and then dry and dab on Witch Hazel which can purchased at the drug store. Also Calomine Lotion dries up pimples nicely and has been recommended by many people. It can be purchased at the drug store too. Then after your skin clears up, start to use a natural and organic moisturizer and makeup that is a water base and has no oil in it. Go to naturalsolutions.com, a website that only sells organic and natural skin products and buy makeup for problem skin that is organic and natural. Use powder blush and lip gloss. Also try greenridgeherbals.com and onyasorganics.com Great websites for skin care and makeup. That's it.

There are 3 different skin types: normal, oily, combination.

You may have oily or combination of both. Your moisturizer may be making your break out because your natural oils and the moisturizer may be clogging your pores.

Try washing your face with a cleanser like Neutrogena Deep Cleanser first. Then apply a moisturizer from Neutrogena with SPF and make sure the label states labels like: Dermatologist Recommended, or Oil Free.

Also, Neutrogena has a large product line for skin. I also recommend oil blotters that come in small packages. They look like small pieces of paper. You blot them on your forehead and other oily areas.

Because oil feeds your pimples, and moisturisers usually contain oil.
To stop this, use an oil-free moisturiser, and a toner.

Switch to all natural skin care. You can find them at vitamin stores or natural food stores (like Whole Foods).

You have to attack acne where it starts, with your diet. For me, diet was the cause and solution. Topical medications fight the symptoms. Start by eliminating trans fats and eating more fruits and vegetables. Once you start cleaning up the inside of your body, by eating properly, the outside of your body (your skin) will be get cleaned up too. I started a website to document my problem and solution.

You might find it helpful to read my story. Just remember to eat an all natural/organic diet with lots of fruits and vegetables. Stay away from processed foods. Use mild, all natural cleansers and don't pick at your face. Get lots of sleep and enough water for your body weight. Remember, clean body = clean skin. While you're waiting for your skin to clear, remind yourself that acne is a challenge that you will overcome soon. Once you're rid of it, tell all your friends how you did it. That's what I'm doing. God Bless.

this particular moisturiser is too oily for your skin.
try some oil free formula or maybe even anti-blemish moisturiser if your skin is oily and prone to acne.

well it depends on the moisterizer. stay away from the ones with oil. and make sure you apply after you use your cleanser. if you forget to do these steps your face will dry up. Sure it will be pimple free but......... very dry and pail.

so keep moisturizing, but dont apply to much.

The possibility are the moisturizer contains oil and it clogs the pores when you apply it to your face and the clogged pores leads to acne that are shown on your face.
