I thought the plastic bathroom cup idea went out with the 60's . We use those little disposable paper cups. No toothpaste crud to deal with, or nastiness.

It isnt harmful or anything, its just toothpaste, but to look clean, I'd wash twice a month since I'm not even a messy brusher..

I don't have a bathroom cup because well yuck you mentioned it. I rinse my mouth out with cupped hands and put them under the water

Thats gross, I wash mine after every use. It just takes a second so there is no reason to let it build up.

you shouldnt let it dry up at all
you should clean your sink and cup after every use
