You do not need to lose weight, number one. Number two, if you don't eat it slows down your metabolism and stores what you do eat as fat. Eat healthy, exercise, and drink plenty of water. Feel good about yourself, that's what counts!!

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Get started today!

Losing weight doesn't mean eating less, or in your case virtually nothing. Your body needs fuel to function. Every heard of anorexia?

Breakfast suggestions -
Yogurt is fine - make sure it is low in sugar and fat.
Fruit (single pieces or make a fruit salad)
Porridge or a breakfast cereal that is high in fibre and whole grains
Toast (no butter and only a small spread of jam or similar)
Eggs (scrambled, or a small omelete)

Lunch suggestions -
Salads (add a bit of chicken to bulk it up)
Sandwiches (on whole grain bread - limit spreads like mayo, jam, etc)

Dinner suggestions -
Lean meat
Fish
Serve with plenty of vegetables or a salad.
To bulk up meals, have a small serve or rice, pasta or couscous (make sure they are whole grain) or potatoes.
Stir fries are great.

Snacks -
Fruit
Vegetable sticks
Nuts

Make food your friend, not your enemy. You can still eat the foods you like and lose weight. Just make your portions smaller and cut out sugars and unnecessary fats. Remember to drink plenty of water and exercise too.

Good luck.

Very bad--if you keep that up, you will become quite ill.

Example:

Breakfast--Cheerios and 1% milk
Mid-morning--Piece of fruit
Lunch--Tuna w/lemon(only), on a few crackers
Mid-afternoon--Celery and/or carrot sticks
Dinner--Broiled fish, or portion size chicken or turkey & 2 veggies
Evening--Yogurt and small can of V8

The reason why eating 6 mini-meals per day works, is that your stomach becomes adjusted to much smaller meals--yet you are never really hungry. Be sure to drink plenty of water--and remember that herbal tea, tea, and coffee have no calories--if you drink them with artificial sweetner or plain.

Don't eat fried food, don't eat junk food, don't eat fast-food.
Do keep something in your stomach from morning till night.

Good luck! :)

Oh good lord no!! You need to eat otherwise your body goes into starvation mode and you hold on to every little calorie you take in. Not to mention your body is gonna start eating it's self. So please start eating! Just eat healthy and you'll lose weight.
