You don't sit next to somebody you don't like. You know what I mean. Just stay sweet and friendly , you got lots of time about 10years to 12years to go . Have Fun.

Guys love the feeling of a girl liking them. He might just be being near you just so he can maintain that feeling.

Honestly, go for the wait-and-see approach. Try flirting with him a little bit more. See how he responds, and if he doesn't seem to like you, move on.

Good luck!

In sixth grade, guys are hard to read. As you get older that will change. He could easily like you and be trying to hide it. You never know, just keep being yourself around him and see what happens then.

I think he does but he is shy and isn't sure he wants to let you know yet. Keep talking to him and maybe try and hang out with him outside of class. who know before you know it you may be dating.

most likely yes. he probably does like u. ask him how does he feel around u. but dont jump to conclusions yet for u may suspect to much only to bring u down if ur wrong. try to get him a a conversation. eventually ask: "what do u think of ur friends" or do u like anyone hear" or what do u think of me"
