What is with all these young young girls having Babies! There is a girl in my town who had a child at 12 (she got pregnant at 11) And i see all these young children asking for help on here. What ever happend to parental control! Does no one supervise their children anymore? Granted i was 19 when i got pregnant but atleast i was out on my own at that point in time and not a CHILD. Every time i hear about these kids it makes me want to cry! along with geting pregnant they are puting themselves at high risk for STDs do so few parents care about what their children do now days?! i know when my son is old enough to be having sex i am going to keep a close eye on him and have very serious sit down talks with him. I Do not need to be a Grand mother at under 40.

It surprises me too. At 11 and 12 I was still feeling embarrassed to even think about kissing a boy, let alone having sex. I wish more 11 and 12 year old children having children would consider adoption. I don't think they think past the cute and cuddly stage. I wonder how well a 16 year old can parent a rambunctious little 4 year old boy?

i hear ya! I'm 18 and pregnant now, but im also on my own. I'm having a boyand i hope he keeps it in his pants!!! I don't want to be a young grandmother to where I can be their Mom, too. 11 and 12 year olds are just ttrying to grow up too fast. Gosh. I don't even remember thinking about sex when I was that age, but I'm not saying I didn't. I don't know how parents can let their children do that. The children must be sneaking out or something. I am most likely gonna have a gps on my son's cell phone and implanted in his shoe! jk....I dunno. I just pray that he uses the head on his shoulders instead of the one in his pants!

You can not be with your children 24 hours a day, and everyday out of the week. As parents, we can only do our best to raise our children right, and hope that when they get into the real world, that they will be able to know right from wrong. At the age of 11 or 12, you can not only blame the parents, but also the child....

Bad news worse...by 11 or 12 many have been sexually active for a couple years!! Make sure you know where your young children are, who they are with and what they are doing! When I heard my daughter and one of her best friends (a boy) discussing PUBIC HAIR (they were both 6) while sitting at my kitchen table I decided she doesn't need to be unsupervised with any boys at any age!!!

I agree fully, it hurts as much as when people complain about the kids they have that they don't want to be a parent anymore, I've heard that so many times..when women complain they have nothing good in their lives then when you mention their kids they laugh, breaks my heart. I am very proud that I was almost 20 before I ever was intimate with a guy and I am raising my kids to know that it's not ok to be intimate before marriage.

The law does not permit parental control. You can spank your child but you can't keep her from going out with bad people unless you can prove they are hurting her -- which you can only do AFTER she is hurt. And then it is the parent's fault the kid got hurt. Go figure.

girls are going through puberty earlier than they used to so this is natural.
