Ok, diggin this girl, i tried to hook up, we started to, went on a couple dates, and girl soon wants to be friends first before anything goes further, and we are friends now, this girl's sister tells me that she thinks she(the girl i like) likes me but has never had a bf so wants to get to know me. However, from my paranoid perspective, i see her diggin a friend of mine, and its ripping me apart inside. i dont know what to do, kinda thinking its too much trouble, but giving up and forgetting about it is OUT OF THE QUESTION. but i cant figure out what else to do...

Well, you could go about this a couple of ways;
Ask her sister what she thinks about your friend, casually! Don't say "hey does ****** like ******". Bring it up and see what she says. You should be able to tell by her reaction whats up.
Mention your friends name in front of your girl, see how she reacts. Or, go out with your girl and "bump" into your friend or even ask her if she wants to go do something with you and him together. If she likes your friend more than you, you WILL be able to tell somehow. Whether she acts uncomfortable around your friend or she acts flirty with him.
When you go out with your friend and your girl, if she likes you she will be talking about you a lot or she will be asking your friend questions about you. If she likes him, she will be asking about him or she will be vain and talk about herself a lot.
OR, ask her straight out and see what she says!
If you still cant tell after this, then you are going to have to wait it out and see what happens. BUT, you cannot start this relationship on distrust, believe what she says! Don't spy on her either, that's just wrong. Plus, if this guy is your friend, why don't you trust him? Reconsider the people you hang with!
If you do the double date thing and you cant tell, just trust that she truly likes you and wants to be with you.

if you like this girl and you suspect that she likes someone else, but are not sure, the best thing to do is to ask her if she has a thing for this other guy. Let her know that you're asking, because you're interested in her, but you don't want to waste either of your times by making further declarations to someone who doesn't want your time and attentions.

Sounds like she may not have had a boyfriend but knows how to play hard to get ...making you want her more.......MY MY I think it is instinctive in girls....... so do not show her too much attention..be around but be busy when she is there ..talk to her a little but talk to other girls....you need to peak her interest in this game..........if you want to play and win

All I can say is that relationships are give and take. What you want is just as important as what she wants. It can't be all about her needs.

how do you know she digging your friend? have you tryed talking to her about what your feeling. i would sugest thing untill you know for sure. get her alone and try talking it always helps....
