Since believing I had taken the log out of my own eye would only prove that I had not done so, I take the log out of my brother's eye knowing full well that I still have one within my own.

In other words, i accept my hypocrisy and the limitations it brings.

Matthew 7:3
"why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother 'Let me take that speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brothers eye"

Been there done that...GROWN past......

sometimes another person...just looks for someones weakness..
When Christians are weak...that is when God is strong in us....we admit our weakness.

God does not expect us to be perfect...just HONEST.

Key word--brother's eye...ie, fellow believer.

Yes, we can't expect to correct someone if we are engaged in the same sin. that is self-explanatory.
