I have 4 Chihuahua's well 3 of them belong to my bf and another is mine. They hated us cutting their nails I think it was because of the human nail clipper's we would use!
We ended up buying them dog nail clipper's. Then we would take them a shower and let their nails get moist this way their nails would be soft and quicker to cut. Next, we put the clipper's where they cant see them or else they will run away (because they know!) haha. Later, when they were not focus we would clip one nail really quick but carefully. We would praise them right after to show that it was a good thing to cut nails. Then we would wait for a minute and do the next one. Sometimes I would only do the front and later that day the back toes. My Chihuahua now allows me to do 3 at a time without complaining.
Another way to do it is by putting a Chihuahua size mouth piece on their mouth and get another person with the most control to hold them while the other clips. However, they will never train like that, but it gets the job done. Just be careful not to cut the pink part ot their toes.

i don't really have a problem with my chihuahuas when it comes to having their nails trimmed. my experience is with my female dachshund who refuses to have her nails trimmed by anyone. i've tried to desensitize her by touching the nail clipper on different parts of her body. even the groomer has had no success. im lucky because my vet has the most patience when it comes to trimming her nails although it usually takes 3 people to hug her so she is not able to struggle and bite while the vet trims her nails. the way my dog was wailing, you'd think she was having her nails pulled out one at a time hehe i guess the vet just has to have the patience to hold down the dog and trim slowly

Have u trained it - that you should be able to touch its paws ??
touch your dogs paw while feedint it a small treat it has to work to get or lick in your hand slowly increase this to you holding tyour dogs paw and the clippers but not clipping ..... etc
groomers don't take any noncense muzzles are used - on any dog that would potentialy bit - they are use to screaming demon dogs - supprisingly most dogs who put on drama acts at home behave at groomers

Groomers are trained in how to handle dogs and how far back to cut the nails to prevent bleeding and pain which causes them to react to getting their nails clipped. If your dog goes to a good groomer, not only will they clip the nails, but if you keep getting them clipped regularly, your dog will even learn to tolerate it without getting upset.

They can put your little teacup to sleep.Or ask you to leave the room and teach your little teacup some manners that is what the little demon needs.

You'll need to muzzle her so she isn't able to bite anyone. Most groomers/vets have muzzles to be able to cut nails.
