OK so I'm not fat or nething like that but i wanna lose some weight....like 20-30 pounds cause then i will b at a REALLY good wieght that i will like. PLZ tell me from wat experinces u have had that helped u lose weight and wat to do! PLZ tell me wat i should eat or share a diet plan wit me that u used or are using that works. Just a comment I am only 12 years old so no diet pills or nething like tht.

I mostly wanna take some weight off my thighs, my hips could ue some work and my stomach could use some work. I wanna b able to wear a biknni this summer and look good in it

follow the food pyramid. eat everything in moderation. dont deny yourself if you feel like something - but dont eat the whole block if you feel like some chocolate - just one or two pieces. as long as you eat healthy and in moderation, you will be fine.

if you are not fat, why would you want to lose 20-30 pounds? if you are not fat now, it will just make you look emaciated. as long as you eat healthy and have adequate exercise, you will soon find yourself looking healthy - and that is much better than looking too skinny.

Hi!

I have a few tips for you

1. Because you are only 12, you are still growing, and thus a diet would not do you nay good, you need all the vitamins and nutrients, so don't restrict calories.

2. DO however, try to eat healthy and exercise (I know, its the usual drag, but your young, and if you get into good habits now, it is a good thing.

3. Eat lots of veggies and fruits, eat lean proteins (chicken breast, tuna, egg whites), good fats (no butter, try olive oil), whole wheat grains (try it in pasta and muffins and breads) and try low fat dairy products.

4. Try writing down what you eat every day for a 2 or 3 days and analyze that. About 40g of fat, 200g carbs, 1300 calories, 40 g of protein. You should get a sense of portions and see what you eat too much or too little of (e.g. too much salt, not enough protein). You can also take a multi viatmin suplement for teens.

5. Dont get obssesed with food, eat when you are hungry.

6. Move!!! Anything, dancing, walking hiking, cycling, and easy stretches.

Being 12....I suggest eating healthy...salads...I like chef salads....Go for walks....Just stay active...Limit your tv watching...instead go outside....maybe take up some babysitting for a 1 or 2 year old....they have infinite energy...I would not suggest using specific diets such as South Beach or Adkins....Simply because of your age...you need your nutrition when you are still growing....Just have fun....I love to dance also...If you like that...it will definately help you lose a few pounds....don't worry about your weight too much...remember it's what's inside that counts...Don't forget it...Take Care...

It's important that at your age, you consult with your doctor before taking on a diet. Adolescents require different nutrition than adults - and all you'll get from diet books is adult information.

try a carb diet just eat a lot of veggie or salad with meat or fish no bread or rice no cookeis or cake that is what Ive been doing for 4 months now and I lost 50 lbs.

Go outside and play!!!! Don't be so sedentary. Put down the cell phone and video games and go walking. Jump rope, run, go to the park. If you do these things, you will naturally slim down.
