ah, they start so young these days... tell her that she can write notes to him and show them to you so you can see if they're good or not, and she can ask if he wants to hold hands... its really very sweet... cards and candy are always nice and innocent.... good luck!

4th grader!!!! Hello?!?! Honestly, if she starts seeking "love advice" now at this age, can you imagine what she'll be like when she's in high school?!?! She's going to ask questions now that she has the thought in her head, and she's going to ask the wrong person, and either get you or her in a lot of trouble. Or she could get the kind of information that you don't want her to have, and things could get very bad, quickly...

Tell her that she needs to stop obssessing about it. I may sound old-fashioned, but... fourth grade? Ok... Well, just tell her to save the romantic stuff until high school, because it leaves a better impression when you're older and more experienced.

Are you seriously allowing your 9 or 10 year old to have a boyfriend? I think you should discourage this and not help her become sexual at this young age. (spruce up her love life????)

lock your daughter up and tell her to hit the books! she's way too young to be thinking about boys and should be studying instead. she'll have plenty of time for boys later, her education should be your primary goal as her parent.
