Cannot live within 2,000 feet of a school, daycare or park.
Must register with the local police, and likely have his name and address publicized.
I'm sure that parole conditions will require no unattended contact with minors, etc.
Just to add a note. Sexual predators should never, ever, be released.

Depends on the country , even the state or province. In Ontario, most sexual predators have restraining orders against them, they cannot call or see or talk to their victim, they have to do alcohol /drug therapy and many are now put on a national sexual offenders' list and or a provincial one.
They also may get jail time ,although it may be time served if they cannot afford bail.
The police can let the public know through the media that a sexual offender is living in a particular neighbourhood or community for the public's safety.

In general....can't live within so many yards of a school, can't teach, must register their status online every time the move...
