At the job that I'm going to start at on Wednesday they require me to be in unifom which is the company t-shirt, navy pants and dark non-skid shoes. Whataburger gave me the shirt and a pair of pants. I'm kind of thin, and they gave me the smallest sizes they had, but the pants are a size 4 in womens and that is still too big. Plus they look like crap on me. I also have the option of providing my own pair but my dad won't buy me a pair. He says that he doesn't have enough money. I said we could go to Goodwill and get them I don't care... but he still doesn't "see anything wrong with the pants they gave me" and won't buy me another more fitted pair. :( What can I say to convince him otherwise?

Where those until you get your first pay check, then get your own. That will show your dad you are responsible and can take madders into your own hand.

Wear the ones which they have provided for you for a little while and then when you have enough money of your own buy a pair which are better suited to you.

wait until you have enough money from working and buy them yourself is my advice. or write a contract and promise to pay your dad back. but if he really doesnt' have the money that won't work.

take the pants to the dry cleaners or a seamstress and have her alter them to fit better ...much cheaper then new ones..and you and your dad should both be happy
