After my divorce I decided to treat myself all the ways i wanted a man to treat me in order to get a greater appreciation and understanding of myself. I LOVE going to the movies and eating out, so why should I wait for a man to ask me out in order to enjoy the things that made me happy? Anyway whenever I would tell someone about my single outings or a friend would see me out alone they would respond as if I was out with a married man! Why do some people believe that alone means lonely? Presently I'm in an exclusive, loving relationship and I owe it all to loving and being comfortable with myself first.

I don't watch movies so I would not go to the movies alone. And going to a restaurant alone, I would not feel uncomfortable, however, I enjoy sharing a meal with someone. I would invite a girl-friend. Some people are lonely when alone, because they haven't discovered self love. And true, if one does not have self-love one will not have a satisfying and healthy love with someone else. Some do not like their own company, very sad but true. And good for you on the self discovery and the relationship. God bless****

Actually I dont like going out to eat alone bc when I am eating I like to conversate. But for Mother's Day last year, I did treat myself and go to a Sushi, Hibachi Grill, and Asian restaurant. I was suprised that I actually enjoyed myself. So its not so bad to eat alone or go out alone as long as you are having fun and treating yourself. Who cares what others think.

i did it! and if i can't find a babysitter soon, i'm gonna do it again. i went to the movies by myself even when i was dating. one guy flaked out on me and i left to go do what we planned to do anyway. i didn't get home until 1am...and i met a few people. had some fun. he was mad cuz i didn't wait for him. whatever! if you can be happy on your own, you can be happy with anyone. it makes you not dependent on someone to have a good time.

There is nothing wrong with being with yourself. People who think you have to be with another person ( man in your case ) are narrow minded. Be happy and enjoy as I do.

sometimes is nice to be alone... for me, I do will watch movies or even shopping and eat alone... its kinda of relaxing sometimes... a partner is for love, to care and to spent the times together... it doesn't seem that only with partner then you will enjoy... as long as one's happy, don't mind what others says... maybe its a selfish way of saying... but for me, i dun care much abt what ppl thinks or says...

no i dont feel uncomfortable. i love the fact that society gets to see me lol. besides if you can eat out by yourself you got more confidence than most people and confidence shines the brightest out of all traights that anyone possess.

confident the hostess is your first effect of the eating place. If the hostess is in a bad temper or rude to you, that's not likely to start your meal off perfect. the 1st element maximum persons might do after she left the table is start up complaining approximately her. If the hostess is pleased and smile, it could make the excellent dinner extra advantageous.
