I'm very interested in true facts, lots of details. The information that you know for sure, since some people hear interesting things about other denominations, but dont research. This becomes a false statement which you believe is true while it isnt.

E-mail me and I can tell you all you want to know. There are a lot of different churches that use the name Pentecostal; nobody has exclusive rights to that name; some are kinda extreme but many have become not so strict in the past 50 years.

You don't allow e-mail; I can't contact you unless you change that, at least temporarily.
Actually, stinkypan, there are some that still don't allow women to wear pants; you can come to church, but you can't sing in the choir if you wear pants. That's at my church so it's not a rumor, but I do know some have changed that rule.

The United Pentacostal Church has very strict rules about interaction between male and female. The dress code is also strict.
Other churches are pentacostal in nature without the legalistic rules for their members. They believe is speaking in tongues, laying on of hands, being filled with the Holy Spirit, prophesy, etc.

I have been Pentecostal all my life. We believe in speaking in tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. We believe in the laying on of hands for the healing through Jesus Christ. We do not have rules that state women can't wear pants or make-up. This is a romor.

i have a female preacher that is penecostal working for me,she says the ladies wear pants but are not suppose to wear them in blue jean material they do believe in tongues and slain in the spirit
