Lies. The inability to be honest with ourselves and others puzzles me the most. Sometimes, it is the protection of the ego, and sometimes it is the protection from consequences, but it always serves to manufacture an illusion. It puzzles me why people choose to become illusioned, or to force an illusion on someone else. It benefits noone, and has no substance. Yet, I have found myself telling lies that I am convinced are of little consequence, only to be a victim of the same lie told by someone else at a later date. I then manufacture the illusion that it still is of little consequence, to protect myself from a little hurt feelings, or to convince myself that they are still trustworthy, or so that I can still pretend to be trustworthy. What a vicious circle. Yet, I have met not one person on this earth who does not engage in some type of deceit from time to time, whether it be the "tell them I'm not home" lie, or the "check is in the mail" lie, to the overtly manipulative lies.

As of April 2001, I have no sins to talk about because God has saved me and he keeps me living clean everyday by his grace and mercy. Now the sins do not puzzle me, but the sinner. God has grace for every sin so we don't have to disobey or displease him in any way. Those that sin want to sin or either do not know the real power of God. Jesus died for all of our sins that we might gain another chance to be reconciled to God. If we still sin, then we need to repent to him and get saved before it is eternally too late. God requires us to live a sin free life in order to make heaven our home. God bless you!

Interesting question...

I don't know if any really "puzzle" me ~ knowing where sin derives from, I don't really question it.

It'll be interesting to read some of the answers you'll receive though.

Why is it one keeps on insisting that one has sins, when it is sin!

So why is it that one does not say "sinser's" instead of sinner!

So why is it that one does not say "sinsings" instead of sinning!

Does one see where I am going with this!

Now if one gets with a couple a hundred of "one's", then those "one's" together are sins not sin!

Did the one catch that?
