Hi Monica, this is an interesting question--I am guessing you are a young lady probably in high school--so your age group is commonly experienceing things new and strange to them. Anger is an emotion---like love and hate----you have to control all of these things. Millions of kids are getting angry--notice i said millions--that's because anger is a common everyday emotion all over the world. AT ANY AGE. How we handle anything in our lives is all a matter of experience. We first have to admit we have a problem--any problem--it is the first step to solving an issue. What and why we get angry is part of the problem...do people make you mad, school work frustrating you, boyfriends, parents, cops???? The reasons are endless. First comes a reaction time to an incident---STOP--get the facts--do not say anything--count to 10--in that time, ask yourself if any of the issue really matters--is it worth being mad over?? Probably not,,so just don't say anything---turn around and walk away. remember--ONCE WORDS FALL OUT OF YOUR MOUTH_THEY_CAN NEVER BE PUT BACK IN...Have respect for everyone--this way you give them the benefit of the doubt when something is said or done--maybe they are right in what they say---so why argue---and shouting is a loss of control--rarely ever helps a situation---and usually the screamer looks like an idiotic, immature, brat. For instance--parental control--they are in charge, you have to EARN your priviliges--NO IS NO for a reason--yelling just sets the whole issue back---not at all helpful. Friends do something to you?? Find new friends or just try to forget about it---sometimes your friends will say or do something that is not nice or devious---just be the BETTER person and ignore it--this will go on your entire lifetime--so get used to it. Cops??? Hey, they are the law---just be nice and quiet and it will be over sooner--argue and it GETS WORSE. School?? Hey--it's an education--earn your grades honestly--accept constructive criticism---you just may learn something if you keep your mouth shut. And stop telling the world your troubles--no one cares---all you do is stretch it out for a longer time---just STOP talking about it.
Anyway--do you see how just keeping quiet for a few minutes and thinking an issue thru can help---yelling and fights NEVER help.Be big, be nice, stand tall, admit your mistakes, SMILE and have a really nice life. I usually get in my truck and go for a ride. I roll down the windows and turn the music up high. It is a great way to deal with anger. I am not yelling at anyone, not hurting anyone, nor am I embarrassing myself.

i would smash stuff and put holes in walls but after replacing many of my electronics i decided to talk to the doctor about medication.that worked pretty good for a while

believe it or not -break things, then i started to feel guilty, so i began to give stuff away like to goodwill industries, it just made me feel better, but i am running out of stuff--true! lol
