I am absolutely amazed by the previous responses.

The fact of the matter is that the Iraqi people have already had two UN-certified elections and a UN-certified referendum to choose their constitution.

If the Iraqis want us out of their country - all they have to do is ask us to leave.

Responses like the previous answers make me suspect that opposition to the Iraq war is based on ignorance.

I say were their for our own reasons not just to help the civil war. We are hunting terrorists. Dont forget 9/11 ( no American ever will)was the strongest reason we went to war. You might not hear us looking for the terrorists on the news anymore but we still have guys searching the mountains for them.

Because the whole story about spreading democracy in the world was a lie.

We refused democracy in Lebanon
We refused democracy in Palestine
We refuse democracy in Iraq

Neo-cons only use democracy when thier puppet wins.

Otherwise we send troops in to maintain totalitarianism, which is what they are doing right now.

That's a great idea. Then if they vote us out, we can leave and tell them to **** themselves. If they're ungrateful, they diserve it. Let them die , fighting eachother if they don't want our help, stabalizing their country.
