I am interested in a guy. He's great but he is very very thin. Most people look at him as not being "manly". This doesn't matter to me at all. But, I have heard that others (especially other men) judge a man based on the looks of their wife or girlfriend. I am definately not the most attractive woman on the planet. I want what's best for this guy. So I don't want people seeing us together and thinking "Man, he must be a loser, look at what he's stuck with!" Should I let him find someone more attractive so people will be saying, "What a stud!"??

NO! This is from a guy by the way. Yes, guys do look at other guys' girlfriends, but it's more to see if the girl is hot or not. If she's hot, then we judge the guy to see whether or not he deserves her more than we deserve her (an egomaniacal thing I know). If she's not, we usually just don't think about it. Go for your guy. No one's gonna judge you. I'm sure you're a great person.

No! Who cares what others think? It's your lives, not theirs to control. Not all people have outside beauty, but then again, not all people need them. Please don't worry about how people judge you on your looks. I have found myself fussing over it pointlessly for a long time now, so I decided to stop. Outside appearances don't matter!!! As long as you two love each other...

I in basic terms decide the guy if his spouse is a slob or any style of impolite/crude individual. in case you marry a style of varieties then human beings won't admire your decission. even if, you probally should not be frightened. -darkish Aphotic
