When a guy is asking you out, do you perfer being alone or with friends?

It depends. If the guy is someone you won't mind getting "a little closer" with because you already know him, then alone is better. There's no safety issue and you should be able trust him. If you don't know him yet, blind date, or a hook up, friends are better. Breaking the ice of a new "prospect" is easier w/ friends and you'll feel safer if he's a psycho too.

I like either being alone or with one of my very close friends. Not only does it save us from having to give an answer right away....it saves you embarassment if we say no. So it is for the good of both of us.

It depends on where you are going and how long have you know each other.
If you known each other to the comfort zone you could invite here just with you for a dinner date or disco with friends both sides.
If you just met each other i think it would be comfy if it will be a group date first.

even though most people say they'd rather be with their friends, they just want back-up, they dont want to feel awkward, & they need some ounce of confidence so they dont feel embarassed or shy.
often times, you're not your TRUE self around your friends, and i find myself sometimes being somewhat of a prude around mine. if the guy i currently liked asked me out in front of my friends, all of their opinions would be clouding my mind from making the decision that were right for me.
do it when you're alone, and you can see her TRUE colors.
