Windos live messenger not running. I double click on the .exe file or shortcut icon and it doesent´t start.?

I have tryed unninstalling it and installing it again, also repairing files and eve downloading the whole thing again but still nothing. It used to work normal untill some days ago.

here is an alternate solution: Try using a multiprotocol agent. gaim is open source and will work with your msn service
there is amsn which also works
another is trillian.
