Sex = Pregnancy. Funny, but a lot of people have forgot about that. I know it's bold, but I get tired of such situations, so I'll answer accordingly:

You're just a kid, focus on your schoolwork. Abstinence is the way to go, believe me.

truthfully i got pregnant with a condom, while i was taking the pill and while i had that shot thingee.. hence, i have 3 kids. it depends on each woman on whether or not those types of things work. but for the most part, they really dont.
the best thing about condoms are it protects against most stds.
sex is gonna happen, no matter at what age, and dont let people rip your butt about it. its a personal choice. but, it would be best to make sure and use a condom each and every time.
hope you make the right choice for YOU
good luck hun

Condoms are about 98% effective at preventing pregnancy, and are very effective and preventing the transmission of STDs. HOWEVER, you must be sure the condom is properly placed for it to be this effective and won't slide off, etc... Go online or something and learn how to properly put a condom on someone if he happens to be incompetent.

Also, in the case you DO get pregnant, plan for Plan B.

Remember to play it safe, but you really shouldn't be playing at all. You're just a kid. You should be focusing on your schoolwork. ;p

ok well since you don't want to hear common sense, then hear it is, no a condom isn't enough, but is needed to keep you from getting STD's I assume you know what they are if not go to webmd.com and look them up. You should be on birth control b/4 you ever have sex. and with doing both of those things your about 90% safe. The bigger question is are you ready to be a mother? Do you have a job to take care of a baby? Good luck

Condoms are not a sure fire way of protection...for both getting pregnant and transmitting std's....

The best way not to get preg. is not to have sex..but if you really want to do it that is up to you. Though just dont get suckered into it.

The next best thing is you go on birth control of some type...patches, pills, the shot...etc.... and use a condom and spermicide.......this should help protect you a bit more..... but unless you are very very sure that you both do not have any kind of STD's then please make sure you use a condom at least for that reason!

well in my teen living class we were on the section and condoms are not 100%. there is always a chance of getting pregnant. The best way to not get pregnant is to pratice absence, untill you are really for sex and the responisblitys that might come with it

If you are scared, then say no. No amount of protection will help your self esteem if you let him pressure you into something you don't want to do. If he can't respect your feelings on the subject, then he doesn't respect you at all and just wants to use you. You will be better off with someone one can understand and respect your feelings.

condoms are good and you definetely should have your friend wear one. But you still need to be very careful. If this is your first time he needs to make sure that the condom is on correctly and stays on during intercourse.
