Why is it that some people do their homework, study hard and get help from teachers and manage to get mostly B's, C's and an A or two, when some other people don't do much of that and get A's?

I personally am very lazy when it comes to school, I never read my textbooks and never study for test and I have never gotten anything worse than a B in high school or a 3.5 in college. I'm just lucky, I can glance over material and learn it very quickly.

I'd say a lot has to do with how you study and go about your work and some is just natural intelligence.

Some people are blessed with the ability to absorb scholastic information quickly and without a lot of effort, while some are not.

Also, the people who are struggling may be having problems because the class' teaching styles are not right for them.

Some people are luckier than others and knowledge comes easier. For the rest of us we have to work hard to instill that knowledge. It's unfair becuase life is unfair.

some things come to some people easy, while others have to struggle just to get by.
also, the students that do all the extra work may be trying to hard and then they freak out when it comes to tests and things like that, and their grades suffer because of it.

It's natural talent.

Some people need help and studying to know that 2+2=4.
Some people just know it.

College, however, will kick those natural talent kids' butts though. Everything you think you know just isn't going to cut it. Those who study hard will be rewarded nicely!

Grades are normally awarded for getting correct answers. The more correct answers given, the higher or better the grade.

With that in mind, read you question and ponder.

That's what you think...

Sometimes the most lazy people actually pretend to be lazy... and they have done a whole lot of work when you can't see them....

Work harder!
