There alot of great bonding activities. It really all depends on what you both like to do. You can fish, hunt, hike, camp, car shows, cub/boy scouts, even playing each other on video games can be a bonding activity. Just think of what you both are into and go from there.

How old is your son? If under the age of 5, take him to the zoo, the park or build a indoor tent (if bad weather) and pretend you are hunting or fishing. If over 5 under 10, take him to putt-putt golf, camping, fishing or bike riding. If over the age of 10 how about go cart racing, driving range, hunting or have some of your guy pals and their sons create a baseball, football or hockey team and play each week. There are so many possibilities! Have Fun!

It really depends on the age of your son. if he is small you can try something like tossing a baseball in the back yard you know some movie type stuff. or you could always go out and see a movie together. something that will interest you both. find something that you liked to do with your father and try it with your son.

Fishing....Bowling....Miniature Golf...Sporting Event.
If you have the time, a nice car trip is the BEST! Plenty of time to talk in the car and the excitement of the destination. If you live somewhere that you could drive a few hours and then stay in a cabin, or even a motel room that'd be great!

One of my sons is 4 and the other 2 months old. I had quite the struggle with my 4 year old as I am no longer with his mother and now married to the mother of my 2 month old.
It has been a battle with the 4 year old since day one. I have been trying to do everything I can to spend quality time with him as he is on a split schedule to where his mother and I rotate every 2 days.

just kidding, Fishing would be my first pick, after that anything where the two of you are having fun. Nothing high stress, like competitive sports. But playing ball together or something you both like.
Age would help.

Anything that you like to do. My son is three and he loves when his dad takes him to do anything that he is going to be doing that day. Wheather it's working on the car, mowing grass, fishing, anything. With boys I think that anything outside would be fun.
