Is that how I really feel?

Drinking lowers our inhibitions and allows us to say those things that pop into our heads and usually keep quiet. I don't believe it is really how we feel though. Thinking is very different from feeling.

My recommendation is to stay sober and listen to the stupid things your friends say when they're drunk. Do they look like idiots? This is what you look like when you drink too much. If that's ok with you then continue. If not, learn your limits. Mine is three talls of Blue Moon.

#1, getting drunk happens to most people in lifetime. Anyone who says you're a bad person for getting drunk is an idiot.

#2, When you've had a drink your inhibitions tend to be somewhere other than wherever you are.

#3, Alcohol is a known drug that is probably actually better than truth serum, or at the very least, works the same way.

#4, Going out and having fun and getting a big old buzz on is fine, but don't drink and drive (that's an ******** thing to do) and if it gets to a point where you're losing friends because of what you're saying - take a step back and look at the bigger picture - your friends/family are worth much more than a beer anyday!

I say things that aren't thought through as well, and act goofy at times, but that's all for fun and for good times with friends. People always say that the truth comes out when you're drunk, I guess it could be true, because things come out easier.

well lets see, first of all your an idiot if you drink and get drunk-i mean all the time. in most cases, it is how you really feel. in normal circumstances your feelings are locked up in yourself and you don't reveal them. but when your drunk, you let everything go and don't even care. but this is all just my opinion.

Maybe, but quit drinking if you do that. Personality change is a big sign of potential alcoholism.

Try doing something like this: If you drink don't talk, if you talk don't drink.
