note that most of the cracks are on the bottom of the battery near the charger prongs

it is a fire department radio so i cant just duke tape it.

They sell this stuff at the grocery store call all purpose household contact adhesive and sealant. We always called it Goop. Smear some of it on the cracks, work it in with your fingers, and let it dry overnight. Problem solved.

Go to the hardware store and buy "machineable epoxy". It is an epoxy that get very hard. You put it in the cracks, then sand it flat. You can even paint it.
