If trash can be processed into oil efficiently would anyone care?

The way this topic is being treated and answers being posted it seems everyone believes trash cannot be processed in a manner that is cost effective.

Apparently you believe trash can be converted to oil in a cost effective manner. I am not aware of any such process. If you can point me in the right direction, I will look into the issue.
