atheists don't question god, we are questioning you.
God has never said anything to us to be questioned.

Why wouldn't it matter to me?
Clearly, we are all interested or we wouldn't be here.

redglory - my point wasn't in discussing your faith in god. Sorry.

Because just as atheists find it impossible to believe in God;
Christians cannot fathom someone not ---- since God is so infinately perfect....therefor to question THE PERFECT authority, and creator of all things is unimaginable.
Quite simple actually.
(Look at it from their perspective.)

there are many examples of people of faith in the bible that questioned God. do you think christians just blindly follow the unseen? Faith is something that comes from God, if the holy spirit has not touched your life then there is no way, come hell or high water, that the natural, carnal man, born in sin, could possibly understand. i think the thing these people are saying is "how can you question THE WILL of God?" because His will superseedes ours and atheists don't like the idea that a higher power has ultimate control over their lives. i didn't when i was an atheist. man, am i glad that God slapped me upside the head and revealed the truth to my heart. i pray He does the same for you.

Actually I've personally never heard this. I guess some people may think as a Christian we should accept on faith alone. In the Bible Jesus questioned God and also Job questioned why he was being punished. There are so many faiths and beliefs in Christianity, I don't know what they mean by that question.
I never mind as a Christian a question such as yours, however sometimes people get so insulting and rude it is infuriating. I don't remember who said it but I wholeheartedly agree, "Can't we all just get along?'

It is not personal against atheists, I am a Christian girl who is friends with an atheist girl. I could know someone for years, and if they question what Jesus has done for me in my life I just simply say that God is great and wonderful and what he says and does is what is meant to be no matter what. If you question my faith I will say that I have incredible faith in Jesus because he is my Lord and Savior and he came to die for my sins, and as Jesus said in Matthew 20:28 "In the same way, the Son of Man did not come to be served. He came to give his life as a ransom for many people." That is why my faith in him is so great and that is why my love for him is everlasting.

Titus 3:9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

I don't know; the Bible doesn't actually say not to question God, but we do recognize that He does not answer to us, we answer to Him.
