They blame everythign else wrong on democrats,

How do you think rpublicans and FOX wil spin this?
And if they dont address this somehow, does that mean they dont really care about our injured troops?

Notice how someone typed -- the dems will spin this.
If someone uncovers a truth, its not a SPIN, its journalist.
A SPIN is republicans - the guilty -- trying to sway attention to avoid accountability

crewchief - your idealistic statement would normally hold true accept ONE PARTY is opposing the benefit for the country.
they dont want to compromise - instead threaten to filibuster anything that doesnt allow president full authority.

how do you compromise with that?
I think its you who have to wake the f up, if you cant see that one party has completely neglected america, and one side is forcing its divide

M1A1 -- cancel what hearings? You mean the hearings to try to look out for our troops when republicans have neglected our troops for 6 years, and are blocking any support for them now?

If thats your posiiton, its just another republican way to transfer this neglect over to the democrats.

Our troops were sent into a war that decieved the public and we shouldnt have entered into, our troops are fighting the wrong country, our troops are being rushed into battle ill trained, they are ill equiped, and now, they its discovered they are not being properly cared for after they sustain injuries.
All because the republicans were too busy protecting the presidents choices.

How can you blame one instance on the democrats?

Only a fool would accept that Democratic are responsible for Walter Reed-Gate blunder. Remember it has been the Republicans who held the "Power of the Purse" since 911.

The biggest sense of hypocrisy; is the jingoistic phrase that only Republicans support the troops. Well where is the support to supply the military with armor; rehabilitation, and other related medical cost; when they return home injured.

Finally the Democratic Congress, has preformed better in the last two months in charged than the GOP; did in the seven years. Yes I would like to hear the spin now!

This an administrative issue not a legislative one. Bush is the executive accountable as CinC. If you haven't been watching, those responsible are being held accountable.

I realize the Democrats want to tag Bush for this as well. Fine, this is on his watch. But be careful at pointing fingers. When you throw mud, some of it always lands on you. The problem I have is that I question the motive of the politicians using this for their own gain just like Katrina. I will cheer the first Dem who works for a solution rather than political points while our vets suffer.

That said, Bush/US Army needs to define the improvements that are going to be made and what if anything they need to make it happen. There are many areas funded by the government that I would be more than willing to see die on the vine before giving our veterans anything less then our best.

And the Dems blame everything on the GOP, and since you named Fox can I safely give every other station to the Dems? Your not getting anywhere with this argument; the people who think like you give you props while the knuckleheads on the right boo you down. Try asking real questions without a politcal agenda and maybe you can change someones mind on something. Or just keep believing the same fairytale that dems have thrown at you for years... I just checked on the cities that have elected Dems for at least 4 terms in a row... Detroit, Philly, New Orleans etc... they all are doing really great right now... but I guess you can blame that on Fox news and Republicans right? Keep believing the dream... communism "might" work "this" time right?

THIS is exactly whats wrong with this nation. Its Liberal this and Con that. Wake the F! up people. Its the entire flippin government! Bitchin and whinin about the other side of the aisle and how they are being stabbed in the back by one another. If we as a nation stood up to the losers in Government by writing letter after letter to our representatives and tell them to get OUR agendas put forth and not THEIR personal agendas. We need to do something now. Look at the majority of the people on the political answer boards. Blindfolded by the news. CNN, Fox, MSNBC. They are all corrupt and use the television to undermine each other. WAKE UP AMERICA!
You said it yourself "I think its you who have to wake the f up, if you cant see that one party has completely neglected america, and one side is forcing its divide" I do see that. That is what I said, neither side is doing anything for America. They keep the average American in the dark and make them choose a side for what THEY think is right. And how is my statement Idealogical? We vote people in as our REPRESENTATIVES to do just that. This is a nation "of the people by the people" not a nation of people governed by the rich. It seems as though people have chosen to forget that or they are so busy listening to the Coulters or Gores that even though it may not be what the people as a whole want it seems to satisfy enough that they get away with what they do.

I think that both parties are at fault, they spend so much time on their political games that they don't pay attention. The Veteran's Administration is just another bureaucracy. I would mainly blame the Republicans though, they were the majority and held all the committee chairs, they should have stayed on top of things.
I pretty much lean toward the republican party on most issues. I am an Independent Conservative.

Notice how many people are trying to use this for political advantage - but a doing nothing to fix the problems?

I challenge the Democrats to cancel their 'hearings' and allocate some money to fix the problems.

This will be a good test of whether or not they support the troops or are just using the troops.

If anyone is going to spin any thing its Democrats. There news media cannot stop talking about this. Then on the other hand the same thing happened to Vietnam vets and that was the Democrats fault. Have you noticed through the whole ordeal that Vietnam has not been mentioned once? Isn't that a bit unusual for Democrats and CNN?

Apparently no one hired a building inspector to W.R.
and it's taken many many years to get into the shape
it's in, probably before Republicans got in office. Surely
you don't blame this on Pres. Bush as you have
Katrina, tornadoes, snowstorms, illegal Mexicans,
and even 911. I'm getting a little sick of it all. Besides,
if you want this nation to be the greatest it has been for
many past years, we must all quit the blame game and
become a "United" States - the ulltimate goal.

They will blame it on Clinton!

They don't care about our injured troops!

If they did why did Bush cut 100 BILLION from VA Hospitals in his 2006 budget, and has asked for another cut to VA Hospitals in his current budget? The Tax Cuts for the WEALTHY are still in the budgets! Unfortunately, we also have 32,544 wounded in Iraq!

I don't even see how a Republican can go along with that, but haven't heard a peep out of them! Guess they want the cut and to hell with the troops!

No Democrat wrote Bush's budget!
