D. Anthophytes are flowering plants.

(Am I about done with your homework? I still have some of my own to do! Really, just kidding. I'm enjoying yours more than mine.)

If you look over at the box on the right of this link it states the divisions of gymnosperms as conifers, cycads, and ginkgoes.

The second link shows cypress as a kind of conifer.

The third link shows Anthophyta is just another name for angiosperms or flowering plants, the Magnoliophyta division (several names there). The supradivision spermatophyta is divided down to those two plant divisions. Then there's classes and so on.

So the answer is D-anthophytes.
