Boneless Chicken Breasts - 1 Kg
Garlic - 3 Cloves
Ginger - 1 inch
Onion - 2 no's
Curd /Yoghurt - 150 ml
Red chilly powder - 1 teaspoon
Coriander Powder - 2 teaspoon
Garam Masala - 1 teaspoon
Lime - 2 tablespoon
Oil - 1 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Make a paste by grind one onion, ginger and garlic in a food processor.
Add this to all the other ingredients, mix well , now add chicken and mix well .
Marinate overnight in a fridge,
Skewer the chicken pieces on thick skewers, not too tightly or they will not cook well on all sides.
Preheat oven to maximum, 240 C , cook for 10 minutes or so, turning over once.
Remove chicken from skewers and garnished with thinly sliced onions, coriander leaves and slices of lemon or lime
it turns out really tasty but if u prefer something with veggies u cud try these
try sautee ing potatoes,tomatoes,mushrooms n peppers together
makes a nice side dish
u cud even try serving plain cheese like jalapeno pepper cheese
try quiche-its surely unique

Kicked Up Cornbread
1 cup onion, chopped
3/4 C. cream-style corn
1 C. cornmeal
1/2 C. flour
1 C. buttermilk
1/4 C. cooking oil
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Baking soda
2 jalapeno peppers, chopped
1 C. Cheddar cheese, grated
Add ingredients to large bowl in order given. Mix well. Place in 13-by-9-by-2 inch pan that has been well greased. Cook at 350ºF for 45 minutes, or until done.
Yields: 10 servings.

Cheddar Cheese Scones
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 tablespoon sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 stick unsalted butter, cut into pieces

1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Transfer to baking sheet with a spatula, leaving 1/2-inch space between each wedge. Paint the tops of the wedges lightly with the remaining 2 tablespoons of cream and bake until golden brown, 22 to 23 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly on the baking sheet. Serve warm.

2 cups cornmeal

3/4 to 1 1/4 cups boiling water
8 slices cooked and crumbled bacon
1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
4 minced green onions
Vegetable oil
Softened butter
Combine cornmeal and next 3 ingredients in a bowl; stir in half-and-half and 1 tablespoon oil. Gradually add boiling water, stirring until batter is the consistency of grits. Stir in cheese and green onions.
Pour oil to a depth of 1/2 inch into a large heavy skillet; place over medium-high heat. Scoop batter into a 1/4-cup measure; drop into hot oil, and fry, in batches, 3 minutes on each side or until golden. Drain well on paper towels. Serve immediately with softened butter.
Note: Stone ground (coarsely ground) cornmeal requires more liquid.
Yield: Makes 8 patties

Well my mom always makes veggie soup and she serves it with crostini (crispy baguette) and a salad. try a butter leaf salad with a vinegrette salad!!! Delicious!
