I am about to go to bartending school and just wanted to know if the pay is good

I worked at a place in Punta Gorda Fl on Charlotte Harbor (Harpoon Harry's)...very very busy place IN SEASON...out of season is very slow. It totally depends on where you work but I made great money. Weekend nights I would clear 500+ a night, if you work a double, geez, you can really make some cash. Considering the fluctuation of season there, you can clear between 35, 000-45,000+ a year depending on how much and how hard you plan on working, and again,where you work. High end bars might sound great but it really depends on the town....a lot of elderly people!!! Either way, good luck and enjoy the beaches!
