Heard this in a song and not sure what the meaing of a self rightous suicide is??

Not "greater good" because thats not the meaning of "self righteous." To be self-righteous you think you have a superior morality. So to kill yourself due to your superior morality. I have no idea what scenario you'd need for that!

Suicide in which you have justified it for the greater good in your own mind.
Typically this would be killing yourself because you are a threat to others, such as taking a cyanide pill in military engagement to prevent information from being extracted that may result in the deaths of hundreds, thousands, or millions.

Self-rightous suicide? I call this spiritual insanity. leading to spiritual suicide.

If a Nazi soldier was ordered to kill five hundred people but killed himself to get out of doing it, would that be self righteous suicide?
