What I find especially ironic is how Mexicans treat illegal aliens. As the cowboy said, the Mexicans are ruthless when it comes to poor, desperate Guatemalans who cross the border. However, when Mexicans come into the U.S., they make demands that should embarrass even the most clueless Liberal.
Check out immigration statistics for Mexico. They are staggeringly low. I think they let in less than 1,000 people annually. How is that for hypocrisy?

It's because they are afraid to confront their own lives. These people taking this position of immigration (who are few as immigration is a bi-partisan issue with only the uber-liberals taking this stance.) feel inadequate in their individual persona. These people try to ameliorate their low self esteem by joining a cause that makes them feel like a kind person. It is a pathological attempt to disassociate themselves with the negatives of their own character without ever having to confront their real self. They are uneducated about Mexico because they don't really care. The motivation in voicing amnesty is a selfish plight with the only real purpose being a chance to say "See how nice I am. See how good I am". Eventually they believe it. Then they become superior smug arseholes like the rest of the Liberal top dogs. AKA John Kerry, Ben Affleck, George Clooney, Gwyneth Paltrow along with every other weak liberal Tom, Dick, and Harry.

yea as cantu said it was Lemelson who invented it in the '56 initially and he was from New York.
As to the cowboy, yea he had his info right to my knowledge. Although he made alot of generalizations. But how specific and exact is a person going to get in an impromptu debate on the roadside.

Los Angeles Times Obituary
Friday, October 3, 1997
Jerome Lemelson; Inventor Held 500 Patents
By MYRNA OLIVER, Times Staff Writer
Jerome H. Lemelson, the nation's most prolific contemporary inventor, who held about 500 patents and used profits from his bar code scanner to encourage young inventors, has died. Lemelson was 74.
The iconoclastic inventor, who lived in Incline Village, Nev., died Wednesday in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles of liver cancer, hospital spokesman Tim Blair said.
If additional pending patent applications are approved, Lemelson could become the American to hold the most patents since Thomas Edison, his son Eric said.
Unusual among independent inventors in that he made his living solely from royalties on his patented inventions, Lemelson invented high-tech mechanisms that translated into automated warehouses, industrial robots, cordless telephones, fax machines, videocassette recorders, camcorders and the magnetic tape drive used in Sony's Walkman tape players. He also invented some medical instruments, including a talking thermometer for the blind.
But it was Lemelson's "machine vision device" that made him a wealthy man and enabled him to endow the annual $500,000 Lemelson-Massachusetts Institute of Technology Prize for outstanding inventors, hand the Smithsonian Institution its largest cash gift (more than $10 million) to establish the Lemelson Center for the Study of Invention and Innovation, and provide funds for MIT and other universities to encourage budding inventors.
I don't advocate for illegals! I advocate for the prosecution of their employers! Employing them is a crime! Being an illegal is a civil offense!

United States needs “illegal immigration” as baby boomers age and workers’ numbers decline. Truth: Job outsourcing, automation, and unemployment, creates need for fewer workers. Many un- or underemployed Americans work multiple low wage jobs to survive. Elimination of U.S citizen welfare and pensions has forced baby boomer elderly and poor Americans to find unskilled jobs increasing the labor pool. Government and businesses want more money “to educate unskilled foreign workers” as they send high-skill jobs overseas. Worker oversupply and job losses devalue U.S. labor and income.

Because frankly it's irrelevant.
I do not think people should break laws. However IF somebody, be they from Mexico, Guatemala, China, Africa, Mars, wherever, WANTS to be here, WANTS to assimilate, WANTS to work hard and gives more to this country than they take, than the law should be changed so that they CAN stay here and I do not give a %^& what Mexico does or doesn't do.
