My hair gets really staticy in the winter. I have used static sheets which is good, and after I put lotion on my hands( because my hands get really dry in the winter too) I just rub my hands through the ends of my hair. not at the roots though you don't want your hair to look greasy--- but it works!!!!

i used to suffer the same thing ,what i do is dont use hair conditioner .and after a shower let you hair dry naturally ,when dry brush it with a wide paddle brush start from the bottom tips and then brush the top .ok after that put on some serum on your hair its called john frieda frizz-ease hair serum then brush your hair untill it gets sleek if you want you can use a flat iron but with low heat like 8 or 10 .you could go to a salon and ask some one their if they have a shapoo that has uv sun block protection it really helps maintain healthy hair.if its possible wash your hair every other day .good luck and dont forget to trim your ends every month .

If you don't want to use a dryer sheet you can take a spray bottle and put about 3 tablespoons of fabric softener in and 3 cups of water, shake it up and spray your hair with it when its wet.... I have really bad static hair and it works for me plus it makes my hair really smooth....

By the way that tip came from a hair stylist... Good Luck!

more conditioner.

Or, you can spray Static Guard on your hairbrush just before you brush your hair in the morning. That's what I do.

Also, consider getting a humidifier for your residence - it might just be that the air is reeeeeeeally dry.
